Last week Cinco de Mayo fell on Taco Tuesday, and this week World Cocktail Day falls on Whiskey Wednesday. I'M HERE FOR IT. Even if we still can't go out, there's no reason we can't celebrate at home! Plus, it's gorgeous out tonight!
This cocktail is essentially your standard Manhattan with a tiny twist. I used Four Roses Private Selection OESQ which has a refreshing, medium body with notes of rose petal, acacia and banana. You can definitely distinguish the banana without it being too sweet or overpowering. I also garnished it with the typical cherry but added a dehydrated banana slice. I got my husband a dehydrator for his birthday (he has nailed beef jerky - recipe coming your way), and it makes for the best cocktail garnishes! Cheers!
