Well we're halfway through the week! Tonight I thought I'd share with you a super easy (i.e. lazy) recipe. This Turkey Club wrap requires minimum cooking for nights that you just can't bring yourself to slave over the stove yet don't feel like going out either. This is also a great lunch recipe to make ahead of time and bring to work or to quickly throw together on the weekend. Not to mention it's full of flavor, healthy, and delicious!
For this wrap you will need turkey (I like to get cracked pepper turkey sliced extra thin - almost shaved, but your preference), crispy bacon (option to sub turkey bacon), sliced tomato, avocado, chopped romaine, Swiss cheese, and a tortilla (whole wheat or low-carb/fiber wraps if you'd like to make this wrap even more healthy or low-carb friendly). Optional condiments include Italian dressing, mustard, and/or mayo.
To build your wrap start by briefly heating your tortilla in the oven or microwave. Softening it a bit makes it a lot easier to roll without breaking. Add whatever condiments you'd like, then your turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, cheese, and lettuce. Roll and slice in half.
Enjoy! Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your weeks. 🙂
- 1 tortilla, briefly warmed in the oven or microwave
- 4-6 oz turkey
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked
- ½ avocado, sliced
- ¼ small tomato, sliced
- 1 slice of Swiss cheese
- ¼ cup romaine, chopped
- Optional condiments: Italian dressing, mustard, mayo
- Start building your tortilla by adding condiments.
- On top place your turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, cheese, and romaine.
- Roll and slice in half in the middle.
